Benefits of soybean oil Soybean oil provides deep moisture to dry hair, as it penetrates the core of the hair and its layers, so it can be used as a deep treatment once or twice a week, by distributing half a cup of soybean oil on the scalp and hair, then leaving it for 30 minutes, and rinsing it in the usual way. It is considered a nourishing oil for hair because it contains vitamins and fatty acids that help penetrate the hair deeply, leading to improved growth, density, and increased smoothness. It regulates frizzy and flyaway hair, and softens curly and coarse hair, making it easier to style and comb, thanks to its moisturizing properties. It strengthens hair and gives it density and strength, thanks to its rich protein content. It is used as an essential oil with other oils such as lavender oil, peppermint oil, and rosemary oil, which help promote hair growth and activate hair follicles when used regularly. It revives damaged or dry hair due to its moisturizing properties, so it can be used in weekly oil treatments to add moisture to the hair. Angela Hughes Brown mentioned in her book "How to Achieve Healthy Hair" that soybean oil is a deep natural moisturizer for hair, which can add moisture to the body while helping to promote hair growth. Protects the skin from ultraviolet rays, and also protects against free radicals, and some gel-like substances or products containing soybean derivatives help with this. Reduces water loss in the skin, which enhances the freshness of the skin barrier. Prevents skin aging, especially in women after menopause, as it is rich in many antioxidants that help with this.
